Andrew Carruthers

Andrew Carruthers is a business leader with two decades of experience across Australia and the Philippines, specialising in financial services and outsourcing.
 


He has executive outsourcing relationships across the globe through his work helping businesses find offshore talent with capability across Southeast Asia, Latin America, Africa, and Eastern Europe. He spent a decade in Manila leading the offshore operations of an ASX-listed financial services company and is a member of the Australia Philippines Business Council (APBC).

His career also includes leadership, risk, and sales roles in Corporate & Commercial Banking with some of Australia’s largest financial institutions, including Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA) group and its subsidiary Bankwest.

He is a full member of the Mortgage & Finance Association of Australia (MFAA) and Senior Associate of the Finance & Securities Institute of Australia (FINSIA) and an accredited Finance Broker.

With his global staffing expertise and extensive network, Andrew is a trusted advisor who can assist organisations looking to establish themselves in both the Philippines & Australia, including customised business tours for executive teams.

Andrew holds a BCom (Banking) from Curtin University of Technology and other related education through the University of Hong Kong and Cambridge Judge Business School.
